As someone not affiliated with Google, I want to share why I strongly advocate for GA4 (Google Analytics 4), despite its initial challenges during rollout.
The reason is simple: GA4 can perform all the functions that any other analytics tool can.
There seems to be a common misconception that if we pay for a tool, it automatically means it’s better.
However, this belief is deeply rooted in human nature and doesn’t necessarily hold.
With GA4, you can achieve anything that you can with any other analytic tool.
When working with clients, I consistently emphasize this point.
As long as you grasp the correct setup procedures and analytical approaches, GA4 can handle any task.
Of course, there are nuances and intricacies. Still, the key takeaway is that GA4, like any tool, requires customization rather than providing instant out-of-the-box reports for all your business inquiries.
So before you pay for that analytic tool, ask yourself: “Can I do the same setup with GA4”.
The answer will probably be a Yes.
